Femme Frontera presents a Virtual Pitch Workshop, in collaboration with IF/Then Shorts, a fund and mentorship program that supports storytellers in breaking barriers to access, exposure, and sustainability in the media landscape. IF/THEN Shorts Director Merrill Sterritt will lead the workshop as a mentor, and a brave filmmaker will be invited to practice pitch their film live during the panel and receive feedback in real time.
Anyone is welcome to join us virtually on April 24, 2025 at 6:30 PM MST.
IF/Then is a fund and mentorship program that supports storytellers in breaking barriers to access, exposure, and sustainability in the media landscape. IF/Then champions inclusive, regional storytelling by underrepresented filmmakers to challenge dominant narratives and dismantle inequities. From elevator pitches with potential collaborators to reaching dozens of decision-makers at an international forum, pitching your documentary project becomes an essential skill for all filmmakers. Hear from pitch mentor Merrill Sterritt of Field of Vision's IF/Then for sage advice on preparing a dynamic doc-pitch toolbox. A brave filmmaker will be invited to practice pitch their film live during the panel and receive feedback in real-time.
